We don't ask enough questions...

We grow up with people, live beside them and love them deeply. But do we ever stop to really hear their story? What shaped them? What moments mattered most?

The longer we leave it, the harder it is to go back.

It started with my mum…

In December 2024, I filmed a conversation with my mum about what it was really like raising us.

Her stories, paired with old home footage, became something I’ll keep forever.

The longer I have it, the more it means.

Now, I offer the same to other families, a way to capture someone’s story, in their own words, with care and honesty.

Memories in motion

Anna Cortis in Crackington Haven

My mum reflects on more than 100 years of family history in a North Cornwall village and her memories of raising her two boys there.

Her stories, paired with old home footage, became something I’ll keep forever.

Andrei Donko: The road to 100 miles

Andrei shares a moving insight into his mum’s battle with Parkinson’s, how he uses radical acceptance to cope with the situation, and how it’s driven him to push his body to the limit.

Why create a Legacy Film?

James really helped me to open up and did an incredible job of turning my words into a free-flowing, powerful narrative that will be with me forever.

One day, I’ll show it to my children so they can see how their grandma pushed through, despite everything.
— Andrei Donko
  • Whether it’s an anniversary, a graduation, a significant birthday or something hard earned, these moments have long backstories. Your film can unpick and preserve how they came to be.

  • As well as facts and dates, your legacy film is about capturing someone’s essence – their voice, values, humour and heart – so future generations can not only know where they come from, but also who they come from.

  • A legacy film isn’t just something to keep - it’s a way to honour someone. It gives them the space to speak, feel heard and reflect. It’s a way of saying: your story matters, and we’re listening.

  • Whether its a graduation, big birthday or memorial event, your film will bring emotional gravitas to a special moment.

There’s no perfect time, just the right one.

If you’ve ever thought “I wish I knew more” or “we should record this story” now is the moment to begin.
